When you attend a funeral for a person who has served in the military, do you expect that a Color Guard will be present? It is easy to take that service for granted but there is much to know about the tradition. Steve Livengood will give a presentation about the Atlantic Veterans Color Guard on Sunday, October 18, 2 pm at the American Legion Memorial Building.
Steve Livengood was in the Service for 25 years. He has been involved with Color Guard since 1987 and has been the point of contact for six years. Steve has interesting stories to tell about the many military funeral experiences over the years. We will all have more appreciation for the volunteer job getting done.
