A Living Memorial For All Veterans

     Restoration of the American Legion Memorial Building will provide local veterans a place to meet and share their history as well as provide the community with much needed space for events. It is home to a  Memorial Hall, Military Museum, Military Library, Atlantic History Center,and Flag Room that are available to the public. This historic building will continue to enrich our community well into the future.

     In the reception area of the American Legion Memorial Building are the Atlantic WWII Commemorative Community certificate from the Department of Defense, the National Register of Historical Places plaque, and the Dog Tag Memorials on display.
